Birthday Parties
Birthday parties at the Minnesota Sword Club are set up because of requests from parents. Parties are made to be fun and to give an idea of what fencing is like. The birthday child decides if sabers, epees or foils will be used. The session is for an hour or a little more. The kids have a great time being swash bucklers and we provide the fencing equipment and a coach. The kids need sneakers, t-shirts and long sweat pants. Then you may have a party at our facilities afterwards. We have a room that can be used for cake and eating plus presents. A Pizza Hut is a half block away and a home made ice cream store is even closer. It is a fun time and a great experience.

Adult Parties
People sometimes ask us for an adult party/class. Often it is just for an evening out; the class followed by going to one of the local restaurants. Other times it may part of a bachelor's party. The purpose is up to you. We teach you what is needed to know so you can then fence against one another. We have the needed fencing equipment so you wear athletic attire (sneakers, t-shirt and long sweat pants). It is a fun time!
We have had groups wanting 3 to 3.5 hour events. We do that
too. The cost for that is $350. The extra hours allows us to teach you
well and then set-up a competition for your members. We can do other
fencing activities if you desire. Contact Us
Special Events
Occasionally we are requested to send fencers to "perform" or teach at business meetings and other special events. This is possible, but we set it up with a coach who must bring equipment to your facilities. E-mail us or leave a message on our answering system and we will return your message. The costs varies and is quite a bit more then if you had the event at our facilities due to travel time and the amount of equipment needed to transport. Contact Us
Medieval Seminars
One of our coaches is an expert on medieval history, the lives of people at the time, the swords and the combat during the medieval period. Call us to arrange this special seminar/fighting-class. Contact Us
To Schedule and Costs
To
schedule a group lesson you must e-mail or call us. We will not be able
to give
you an immediate answer until we talk to a coach who will run your
party/class. Either Rich Jacobson or the coach will return your message
and set up the specifics as
well as answers any question you may have. Most classes are held
Saturday afternoon but, other times are
possible if we can arrange a coach and do not have classes. Our best time is on a Saturday at 1:15pm. The classes are for an hour or a little more and are a lot of
fun as well as educational. The minimum cost is $140 for up to ten participants and $14 additional for each over 10. Twenty people are the maximum for any group. We provide the

Deposit
We ask you to make a deposit of $25 to finalize the party or event. The button below will provide a PayPal transaction or you may send us a check. Either way is good, just do not do it until we finalize a date and time with you.
